🌿 GOVARDHAN PUJA! 🌿

✨ Shree Giridhari Dham’s Biggest Festival of the Year! ✨

Govardhan Puja is the grandest celebration of the year at Shree Giridhari Dham, when our beloved Giridhariji lifts up Govardhan and protects us all!

This sacred day commemorates the divine leela in which Lord Krishna, out of boundless love and compassion, lifted Govardhan Hill to shelter the people of Vraj from the torrential rains sent by Indra.

It was through this miraculous act that He received the name 'Giridhari' — the One who lifts the mountain.

🙏 Join us for a morning filled with devotion and celebration — abhishekam of our Giriraj Shilas, parikrama, making Giridhari and Giriraj from cow dung, joyful kirtan, satsang, prasad, and a traditional Chappan Bhog offering.

🍛 Chappan Bhog – An Offering of Love

In gratitude for Lord Krishna’s divine protection during the seven days He lifted Govardhan Hill, the devotees offered Him 56 dishes to make up for His missed meals.

You too can express your love for Giridhariji, BUY A DISH FOR HIM!
