OM CHANTING

OM Chanting is a free group practice that uses the transformational power of OM to activate the self-healing potential of participants. The practice transforms negativity into positive energy, helps purify the local environment, and supports the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of participants.

Love is meant to be shared. OM Chanting brings people together to share the positive vibrations of OM and their love for Mother Earth in local communities and nations around the world. In this way, regular OM Chanting circles and monthly Full Moon circles are a priceless gift for humanity.

TRANSFORMS NEGATIVITY INTO POSITIVITY

Due to a special blessing, OM Chanting generates a vibrational frequency that releases negativity, transforms it and showers participants with positive energy.

PURIFIES THE ENVIRONMENT

The vibrational waves created by the circle spread out in a 2-kilometre radius, creating a harmonious, peaceful environment and a unity between humans and nature. The OM continues to resonate in participants’ bodies after the circle, allowing them to share the good vibrations wherever they go.

ENHANCES OVERALL WELL-BEING

The practice promotes inner peace, mental clarity, emotional freedom and physical health. Many experience positive shifts which allow them to enjoy more peace, joy and love in their lives.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“I found OM Chanting on the west coast of the United States where there are a lot of spiritual things that are ungrounded and unbalancing, so I was a bit skeptical. I went in and tried it out. I was blown away. It was really like somebody took an entire weekend of rest and compacted it into a single hour of activity. I felt amazing. It was so amazing I just keep coming back every week.” – Aron (USA)

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“There was a woman who had suffered for many years with pain in her legs and always used a stick (crutch). After OM Chanting she stood up and went to the exit. One of the participants noticed that her stick was still standing by the wall and called to her. She turned, amazed at the fact that she could walk without leaning on anything.” – Oleg (Russia)

ANCIENT TECHNIQUE FOR MODERN TIMES

Grace of the Masters. Many people are aware of the power of OM, but only a Master knows how to activate its full potential. Paramahamsa Vishwananda is such a Master. Through His blessing and grace, this ancient practice is available to help create positive shifts around the world.

A Special Blessing. The practice works because of a unique combination of seating, continuous chanting of OM and the presence of an OM Chanting Organiser who carries the blessing of Paramahamsa Vishwananda. The Master’s blessing is what permits the full transformation of negativity into positive energy.

Vibration of OM. OM is the universal sound of creation; it is the highest and purest vibration that exists. Rishis of old perfected OM Chanting and used it for healing. Forgotten over time, this ancient group technique has been reintroduced by Paramahamsa Vishwananda to support Mother Earth and mankind in this time of need.

How OM Chanting works?

OM Chanting sessions usually last for 45 minutes and consist of two specifically formed circles. Participants are divided into three groups which are exchanging their position every 15 minutes. We keep chanting OM continuously and do not make any unnecessary breaks. We also do not leave the circle until the the session is finished.

OM Chanting around the world
At the moment there are nearly 2000 OM Chanting Organisers in more than 60 countries on 6 continents and the numbers are growing every day.
Can I participate if am sick?
Whenever somebody can’t sing OM because they are sick, then they can speak with the organiser beforehand and still sit in the circle in order to get more healing energy.
Who can participate?
In general, everybody can participate who can chant OM over the entire duration of the session.
How to become an organizer?
To lead an OM Chanting circle, one must have the authorisation and blessing of Paramahamsa Vishwananda or one of the Bhakti Marga Swami(ni)s. However, first step is always to participate in minimum nine OM Chanting circles, which is then followed by participation in OM Chanting Workshop.
OM Chanting Workshop
OM Chanting Workshop is workshop where you learn in depth about science of OM Chanting and sound OM in general. Please contact your OM Chanting country coordinator to find out more about participation.

FULL MOON OM CHANTING

The full moon intensifies the positive vibration of OM. To optimise this effect, simultaneous OM Chanting circles are held around the world with a shared intention. In this way, the global practice helps transform our planet by uniting local communities and sending out a strong positive vibration to everyone. It also magnifies the healing effect on participants and the environment.

“As the full moon reacts on the water element, it reacts on the body and the mind. OM Chanting imprints the cosmic sound of OM, making each cell of your body vibrate this cosmic sound. So automatically, in place of going crazy, you feel good! You feel calm, in a meditative mood.”
– Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda
