All Vaishnavas also conduct themselves with great humility and recognise the importance of a Guru to help them attain God, which they see as the ultimate aim of a human existence.
Paramahamsa Vishwananda venerates not only Sri Ramanuja Acharya as the founding Guru of the Sri Sampradaya, but also Mahavatar Babaji, who is both the founding Guru of Kriya Yoga and His own Guru as well.
SRI RAMANUJA ACHARYA
Sri Ramanuja Acharya is the founder of Sri Sampradaya who lived from 1017–1137 AD. He was deeply moved by the Bhakti (devotion) of the Alvar poet saints and strongly disagreed with the impersonal notion of God that was popular during His early studies. He became the main proponent of Vishishta Advaita philosophy and proclaimed the doctrines of devotion and surrender to God. Later on, after successfully debating His challenges, He formalised the Sri Sampradaya based on the idea of devotion to a personal God in the form of Sriman Narayanaya. The Sri Sampradaya is the oldest and largest Vaishnava lineage.
Mahavatar Babaji is the renowned immortal yogi from the Himalayas who manifested Himself 5000 years ago. He is still on Earth, choosing to remain in a physical body until everyone on Earth has attained the Divine. Known as the Father of all Kriya Yoga traditions, through generations of Masters He has shared a variety of Kriya Yoga meditation techniques with the world to help practitioners realise themselves (Self-realisation) and God (God-realisation).
Mahavatar Babaji’s nature is unparalleled. Paramahamsa Vishwananda says He is Jagadguru, the Guru of all the Gurus on Earth, and He helps them all carry out their work. Mahavatar Babaji is beyond time and space and He is constantly blessing humanity with waves of love and peace. He is serene and gentle, and above all, very humble and full of love.
GRACE OF THE MASTERS
Om Namo Narayanaya is the main mantra of Sri Vaishnavism and Bhakti Marga. This once secret mantra was originally made available to the world through the Grace of Ramanuja Acharya.
Paramahamsa Vishwananda offers initiation into this mantra through the Bhakti Marga Spiritual Order and Atma Kriya Yoga. Initiation gives the Grace to attain God-realisation when the mantra is lovingly practised with bhakti. He also shares this mantra through a free practice called Project Mantra.
Project Mantra is a free, guided program that helps you gradually build up a simple, yet powerful daily chanting practice over 40 days.
