Across eleven days, travel alongside the Master to places shaped by the presence, teachings and sacrifice of the ten Sikh Gurus. From the luminous Golden Temple in Amritsar to the ancient spiritual centres of Khadur Sahib and Goindwal Sahib, from Takht Sri Damdama Sahib to Anandpur Sahib – the birthplace of the Khalsa – each destination reveals another chapter of this extraordinary lineage.

This journey goes beyond visiting famous gurdwaras. We will enter historic meditation chambers, stand at sacred wells, discover places where the Gurus lived and taught, and encounter stories of devotion, courage and selfless service in the very locations where they unfolded.

This is an invitation to walk through the land of the Gurus with a living Master and discover a tradition rooted in unwavering faith, spiritual strength and complete devotion to God.

These sacred sites will be placed within their living context, revealing the Sikh tradition not only through its history, but through its practices, devotion and spirit of community:

Kirtan & Satsang

The singing of Shabads is an immersion into the living word of the Master, awakening bhakti and purifying the mind.

Prayer

Teachings forged by ten generations of fearless warrior gurus, culminating in the eternal living Word – the sacred Guru Granth Sahib.

Langar

A manifestation of absolute equality and selfless service, where people of all faiths sit together to share a blessed meal.

RARE ACCESS TO SACRED RELICS

One of the most exceptional aspects of the programme is the rare access to private collections of sacred relics and personal belongings connected with the Sikh Gurus.

Receive an extraordinary opportunity to view sacred objects that are not normally accessible to the general public. Carefully preserved across generations within family homes, lineage centres and private collections, these rare objects offer an intimate connection with the lives and legacy of the Masters who shaped the Sikh path.

These collections include historic weapons, garments, manuscripts, devotional objects and other precious relics safeguarded by families associated with Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Hargobind Ji, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Guru Gobind Singh Ji and other revered spiritual figures.

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

The Golden Temple and Sacred Amritsar

Visit Sri Harmandir Sahib, known throughout the world as the Golden Temple, and experience the devotional heart of Amritsar. The journey also includes important nearby sites such as Santokhsar Sahib, Guru Ke Mahal – the ancestral home of the Guru family and birthplace of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji – and places connected with Baba Deep Singh Ji and Sri Chand.

In the Footsteps of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Visit Dera Baba Nanak, where Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent the final years of his earthly life, and receive darshan of places connected with his life. At Sri Chola Sahib, see the centuries-old cloak traditionally associated with Guru Nanak’s journeys to Mecca, Medina and Baghdad, together with a cloth embroidered by his sister, Bebe Nanaki. The journey also includes Ghoman, where the Maharashtrian saint Namdev Ji lived and practised intense spiritual discipline.

The Ancient Centres of Khadur Sahib and Goindwal Sahib

Explore two of the most important early centres of the Sikh tradition. At Khadur Sahib, discover the legacy of Guru Angad Dev Ji, the development of the Gurmukhi script and the places connected with Guru Amar Das Ji and Bhai Bala.

At Goindwal Sahib, visit the sacred 84-step Baoli, the residence of Guru Amar Das Ji and historic places where treasured personal objects and family memories of the Gurus have been preserved.

The Great Takhts and the Birthplace of the Khalsa

Visit Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, where the complete version of the Guru Granth Sahib was compiled, and Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib in Anandpur Sahib, where Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the Khalsa in 1699. In Anandpur Sahib, enter sacred places connected with Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji, including the underground meditation chamber at Bhora Sahib, Sis Ganj Sahib and the historic fort of Anandgarh Sahib. The journey concludes with Kiratpur Sahib, a peaceful sacred centre associated with Guru Hargobind Ji, Guru Har Rai Ji and the preserved belongings of Bibi Rup Kaur.

Registration is open till 1 November 2026.

Price

Price: 660,000 INR (≈6,000 EUR).

To confirm the reservation, an advance payment of 330,000 INR (≈3,000 EUR) is required; the prepayment period is until 1 December 2026.

The final balance must be paid by 1 February 2027.

Important Information

Early closure of registration is possible once all places are filled.

Changes in the programme are possible due to unforeseen circumstances. Bhakti Marga India is not responsible for any changes in the programme due to force majeure.
