Every corner of Maharashtra holds a story of a saint who lived entirely from the heart. This journey is a gentle invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in the spaces where these incredible masters loved, sang, and left their lasting peace.

The entire experience is designed to be a living expression of devotion, centered on the inspiring stories and beautiful songs of the region. Together with Swamini, we will travel through vibrant temple towns, ashrams, and historic villages, allowing the unique atmosphere of these sacred spaces to open our hearts and naturally guide our connection. Spending time in places like Pandharpur and Shirdi offers a rare opportunity to connect with the fierce compassion of Shirdi Sai Baba, the sweet poetry of Sant Tukaram, and the deep peace of Sant Dnyaneshwar.

This immersion is an opportunity to step into a lineage of pure love and let the simple, profound devotion of Maharashtra's saints become a living part of your own path.

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

SHIRDI SAMADHI - REALM OF COMPASSION

A space dedicated entirely to the presence of Shirdi Sai Baba, whose life and teachings embody universal love, patience, and deep compassion. Shirdi is a unique sanctuary where boundaries naturally dissolve, reflecting his simple yet profound message of unity and faith. Spending time within his Samadhi Mandir, the historic place where he lived, and the quiet pathways of Lendi Garden provides a profound setting for personal reflection. It is an opportunity to sit in quiet contemplation, absorb the comforting warmth of his legacy, and connect directly with a master who dedicated every moment to uplifting others.

PANDHARPUR - HOME OF DEVOTION

The heart of the entire immersion. This sacred space allows the group to settle into the vibrant, living atmosphere of the Panduranga Temple and explore the historic homes and stories of saints like Sant Janabai and Sant Kabir. It is a beautiful place to experience the sweet, accessible side of community devotion.

TRIMBAKESHWAR - ANCIENT SHRINE

A Jyotirlinga is a supreme pillar of light, representing the infinite, unmanifest reality of Shiva revealing itself to the world. Among the twelve most sacred pillars across India, Trimbakeshwar holds an incredibly unique importance. Unlike the other shrines where the lingam honors a single deity, the one here has three faces representing the divine trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara. Tucked into the foothills of the Western Ghats, this ancient space is also the birthplace of the sacred Godavari River, making it a place of immense purification. Honoring this source and sitting near the samadhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar connects us directly to the majestic roots of the tradition.

SAPTASHRUNGI - CLIFFSIDE TEMPLE OF THE DIVINE MOTHER

High on a mountain cliff surrounded by seven peaks, this temple is one of the revered Shakti-pithas—sacred places where the energy of the Divine Mother is incredibly strong. Saptashrungi is uniquely important because it honors the Mother in a grand, eighteen-armed form carved directly into the mountain rock. The beautiful, high-altitude setting matches the powerful feeling of the temple itself. It is a wonderful space to sit quietly, feel the protective warmth of the feminine divine, and experience a deep sense of inner strength and peace.

ALANDI - DEVOTIONAL CENTER OF PUNE

Pune is a major modern city, but it is also home to deeply rooted spiritual centers. Just on the outskirts lies Alandi, the Samadhi site of Sant Dnyaneshwar, who is one of the most significant saints in the region's history. At a young age, after completing his life's work of translating sacred texts into the local language, he entered into a state of permanent meditation here. Visiting his temple and the ancient Ajanya tree on the grounds provides a quiet, grounded environment for reflection. It is a perfect place to see how the devotion of the past remains completely alive in daily life today.
