Kumbh Mela Vrindavan 2021
The deities of Shree Giridhar Dham accompanied the pilgrimage participants for the second snan in the Yamuna. They received full abhishekam on the banks of the Yamuna using the water from the holy river as guests sang kirtan and danced for Them. The immense love and energy attracted many people nearby to join the puja and celebration. Everyone got a chance to offer water and arati to the deities, which was a representation of them offering their love and devotion.
After the deities received Their snan, all paricipants respectfully bowed and took their turn for snan in the blessed Yamuna River. It was a moment of community and comradery as people held hands and dipped together. The spirit of the group was filled with reverence and gratitude for this incredibly rare opportunity to take snan during the Vrindavan Kumbh Mela.
As our beloved Gurudev says, the Vrindavan Kumbh Mela is meant for washing the impurities of everyone, including the holy Prayagraj Himself. All the impurities that Prayagraj collects are washed away in the Yamuna first before Prayagraj can begin to clean the impurities of those souls who bathe in His holy waters. Gurudev’s story about Prayagraj coming to Vrindavan best describes the immense grace of Vrindavan Kumbh Mela. Everyone should make the effort to experience the magic for themselves. Yamuna Devi and Giridhari are calling you!
Next snan date is March 13th – register here: https://bhaktimarga.in/kumbh-mela/
